pytteliten was born from our wish to step away from the aesthetic fatigue that arises when refinement becomes repetition. We do not aim to “redefine the everyday,” nor to establish a new “standard of beauty”. We simply desire to rediscover designs that have been quietly left behind. These objects may be worn, imperfect, or even at odds with current trends, but they exist sincerely, having withstood the test of time. It can be as simple as a faded dish towel hanging in a summer cabin, or a spoon resting on an old wooden table.
